Join Us at Laguna Seca WorldSBK: Aprilia Display & Autographs
Heading to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this week for the eighth round of World Superbike? If so, come join us for an action-packed Friday through Sunday at the only stateside WorldSBK stop of 2017.

We’ll have our Aprilia semi-trailer parked between turns 4 and 5 with our full range of Aprilia motorcycles on display, including:

Besides the display, where Aprilia USA staff will be present to answer any questions, we’ll also have our Milwaukee Aprilia racers on-hand for autographs Friday and Sunday with free Milwaukee Aprilia posters. Tentative times for signings are 4:00 Friday and 11:30 on Sunday.

Come say hello to Eugene Laverty and Lorenzo Savadori as they continue to battle aboard their factory RSV4 RF superbikes during this intense World Superbike Championship.

Aprilia still claims the circuit record at Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway, which is situated on the Monterey peninsula 93 miles from San Francisco. The record was set by Sylvain Guintoli in 2014—the same year the Frenchman won the WorldSBK title. His circuit record (under race conditions) of 1:23.403 has yet to be beat.

The RSV4 is the ideal bike for the California race track, which is tight and has much elevation changes. The biggest change is the notorious Corkscrew, a quick left-right turn with a 59-foot drop in only 449 feet. Think of it as a five-story drop!

Aprilia has won three times at Laguna Seca: Troy Corser in Race 1, 2000; Eugene Laverty in Race 2, 2013; and Marco Melandri in Race 1, 2014. Their last podium at Laguna arrived three years ago with Guintoli, who was second in Race 2.
